Why is exercising everyday so important?

Exercising every day is important for many reasons. 

It can help improve your physical health by helping you maintain a healthy weight, strengthening your muscles, and improving your cardiovascular health. 

Additionally, it can help improve your mental health by reducing stress, increasing your energy levels, and improving your mood. 

Regular exercise can also help reduce your risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease and diabetes, and can help you live longer. All in all, exercising every day is a great way to stay healthy and happy!

That is why it is important to develop some kind of consistent exercise routine. 

Motivation will come and go, but consistency should remain.

10 ways to motivate yourself when you don’t want to work out

  1. Set some achievable goals. Having something to work towards and measure your progress against can help to keep you motivated. Start small! If you are new to working out, start with just walking 1 mile and slowly build from there 
  2. Find a workout buddy. Working out with a friend can help to make it more enjoyable and help to keep you accountable.
  3. Listen to upbeat music. Put on some of your favorite tunes and let the music inspire you to keep going!
  4. Reward yourself. Treat yourself to something special after you complete your workout, like a relaxing massage or a delicious healthy meal.
  5. Break up your workout. If you’re feeling unmotivated to complete your entire workout, try breaking it up into smaller chunks. That way, you don’t have to do it all at once. Even just a short 10 minute stretch counts 
  6. Change up your routine. Try something different to keep things interesting. 
  7. Visualize your success. Take a few minutes to visualize yourself achieving your fitness goals.
  8. Take a break. It’s okay to take a break from working out every now and then. Just make sure you get back on track when you feel re-energized.
  9. Think about how you’ll feel afterwards. Remind yourself of the positive feelings of accomplishment and energy that come from exercise.
  10. Give yourself a pep talk. Remind yourself why you started working out and that you can do it!
